Tokyo Gift Show LIFE x DESIGN
SUMIIRI Chair and SUMIIRI Mirror designed by Ryosuke Fukusada will be unveiled by Shizuoka based furniture maker iwakagu within the Tsunagu Design Shizuoka project at the Tokyo Gift Show LIFE x DESIGN to be held at Tokyo Big Sight from 15 to 17 February.
The project “TSUNAGU DESIGN SHIZUOKA” aims to connect designers and manufacturers to create new products.
Development started with the aim of creating a wooden chair that symbolises iwakagu, and an iconic chair incorporating elements of “Sumiiri” was completed. Please drop by our stand!
At the same Tokyo Gift Show LIFE x DESIGN, the collaboration project between Ukrainian Design and Kyoto craft carried out last year will be presented. Also on display will be the products of nine companies participating in the Kyoto Inter-industry Exchange Association Kyoohoo, which cooperated with the project.
