We are pleased to announce the opening of Adashino House, the new location of Shogado; a brand renowned for its shikishi tanzaku, washi paper products, and fine stationery. The space is located in the preserved historical district of Saga-Toriimoto, Kyoto and is designed by Ryosuke Fukusada. Adashino House is a 100-year-old machiya (traditional townhouse), that was renovated to highlight the beauty of Shogado’s washi paper products. While maintaining the original structure and fittings as much as possible, modern functionality has been seamlessly integrated to create an elegant and practical display environment.
